Now is your chance to participate in the 14th Annual Fundraiser Golf Outing which benefits Manchester’s Community Resource Center (CRC) and Chamber of Commerce (MACC). The event will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Hills’ Heart of the Lakes Golf Course in Brooklyn.
This annual fundraiser combines friendship, fun, golf, and lunch while raising funds to meet community needs right here in Manchester. Whether a golfer, a sponsor, or a volunteer, the event provides a variety of ways for participation: sign up to play golf or better yet, bring a foursome; sponsor a hole with a donation; help underwrite costs through donor partnerships; donate gift certificates or merchandise; or, volunteer the day of the event. In its 14th year, the CRC & MACC Golf Outing has proven to be a successful fundraiser and opportunity for community involvement.
Who benefits? The Community Resource Center serves individuals and families in need by offering programs to improve their lives, promote volunteerism, and enhance the welfare of the Manchester community. Regular assistance is provided to our community neighbors with temporary or long-term needs, including food pantry, public benefits, utility assistance, job search assistance, tax preparation assistance, and more.
The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce will also benefit from the Golf Outing. The Chamber promotes and stimulates the commercial vitality of Manchester and its members (local businesses, service organizations, and individuals), sponsoring such events as the Business Expo, Farmers Market, Christmas in the Village, downtown Christmas lights, and more.
Thanks to the outstanding community support for the CRC & MACC Golf Outing over the past 13 years, nearly $80,000 has been raised to help fund these community projects.
